Who am I?
I am a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at EPFL, where I am advised by Alessandro Chiesa. I am broadly interested in cryptography, complexity theory, probabilistic proofs, and information-theoretical techniques, with a particular focus on the parallel repetition of probabilistic proofs.
I received my B.Sc. degree in Mathematics with a double major in Computer Engineering from Koç University in 2022, where I worked as an intern at the Cryptography, Security, and Privacy Research Group headed by Alptekin Küpçü. I received my M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from EPFL in January 2025. During my master's studies, I was a research scholar, working on biometric authentication --particularly fuzzy extractors-- under the supervision of Serge Vaudenay. I then explored probabilistic proofs and studied the parallel repetition of PCPs under the supervision of Alessandro Chiesa.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, and listening to music. I also like marbling (called “ebru” in Turkish, which is usually described as painting on water) - if you are curious, you can find some of my work here, previously exhibited at the student exhibition of Marbling club at Koç University.
